Enrollment Builders Contact Center - Admissions Support Specialist

Regional work from home opportunity for candidates within three hours of Lexington, KY (Occasional travel to Lexington, KY for training/meetings is expected).

Summary

The Admission Support Specialist will focus on encouraging and keeping prospective students in the process by removing barriers and providing a streamlined prospective student experience. The Admission Support Specialist will support the Enrollment Builders Admission Counselors during times they are unavailable and support other prospective students’ needs.  

Features:

  • Monthly and quarterly training (at times this training will be provided on-site in Lexington, KY.

Additionally, this position will be responsible for:

  • Sharing excitement with prospective students as they progress through the admissions process.
  • Utilizing detail-orientation and an energetic approach to support students who need additional guidance.
  • Serving as a subject matter expert and an investigator for students and admissions counselors.
  • Ensuring a successful transition of prospects between teams.
  • Rescheduling missed admissions appointments, deadlines, and following up on delays.
  • Serving as an extra touchpoint for potential students to provide a strong enrollment experience.
  • Watching for any dropped tasks and accuracy on fields as populated.
  • Monitoring email accounts for potential concerns in flow and follow-up.
  • Problem-solving that allows everyone to keep pushing forward.
  • Communicate process challenges to leadership and Project Managers on Admission Counselor’s behalf.
  • Identify new FAQ’s and communicate common answers across team members.

The ideal candidate for this position will have a high level of detail-orientation and the ability to work and process in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, the requirements of this position include:

Bachelor’s Degree.

  • 2-4 years of experience in a support role.
  • Coaching mentality.
  • Experience in higher education admissions.
  • Efficiency-focused mindset.
  • A dedicated quiet home working space, free from noise and distractions.
  • High-speed internet.
  • Updated laptop or desktop computer with high quality microphone headset.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Hubspot, and CRM management best practices.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, required.
