Director of Paid Media
Summary:
As our Director of Paid Media, you will be a leader on the PPC team responsible for telling the world the story of what our clients stand for! You will be expected to be our chief advocate for a specific feature set and its benefits. Additionally, you will be charged with crafting the strategy around the messaging and marketing for new and ongoing client launches.

  • Responsible for reviewing current processes and business challenges and creating new processes and solutions for this division.
  • Manage a group of highly qualified and advanced contractors responsible for various contract work.
  • Provide consistent, accurate, and timely reporting for all client paid media needs.
  • Oversee monthly budget, media plans, and pacing towards forecasted results.
  • Conceptualize and initiate tests with the Account Manager and client (keyword bids, ad copy, and landing pages) in order to continually improve key metrics (click, search, convert) across campaigns.
  • Adhere to social media, lead generation, editing, UX, audience evaluation, and time management best practices.
  • Create product content (e.g. sales enablement documentation, case studies, product videos, website copy, blog posts, forum responses) to articulate the client benefits to the world. Must be technical and able to make changes to client landing pages, forms, etc.
  • Assist members of our sales team on calls with prospects when appropriate to provide deeper dives into the product.
  • Speak and present both internally and externally to promote the story of our client’s products.
  • Measure and optimize the buyer journey as it relates to product feature adoption and usage.

Requirements:

  • Become well-versed in higher education accreditations, regulations, initiatives and related concepts necessary to contribute to better keyword build outs
  • This role will have on-site and virtual work requirements.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in higher education preferable.
  • Experience working with paid media advertising focused on providing high performance results.
  • Past experience in digital marketing, social media, inbound, product marketing, UX Design, and/or product management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills -- there is a heavy amount of writing and presenting/selling ideas in this role.

The Position:

  • This mostly virtual position must possess a thorough understanding of digital marketing higher education communications solutions including web, mobile, social media, SEO, ad networks, digital media and analytics.
  • This position will assist by coordinating, managing, maintaining, monitoring and strategically designing a university’s search engine marketing, social media advertising, and lead generation initiatives across a variety of advertising networks, communications channels and platforms.
  • This role will work primarily with programs that are targeting the adult, non-traditional programs both online and on-ground.
