There are a lot of contemporary enrollment management tools which, when used properly, can be effective at helping higher education administrators grow adult and online enrollments, serve students well, and meet institutional enrollment objectives. There are also a seemingly endless number of vendors and service providers with niche products, the latest technologies, and innovative marketing strategies who claim to have the perfect solution for your enrollment challenges.
With all of the tools that are now available and all of the pressures to generate tuition revenue, all while doing more with less, just where are enrollment professionals to go in order to obtain some advice as well as a direct and unbiased perspective on the use of these different tools? The Enrollment Builders Tool Box will be the place to go.
This is a blog by enrollment managers for enrollment managers and institutional decision makers. Our intent is to provide information, reviews, lists, and comparisons. We would like this blog to be a free and trusted source for anyone interested in online and adult enrollment management.
Some of our posts will contain useful information about various marketing, recruitment, and retention strategies. We will also define and explain some of the vernacular that may be unique to online and adult student enrollment.
Other posts will be reviews of new technologies, products, and online enrollment trends. The 'Tool Box' will be a good source for objective opinions on some of the most popular and important enrollment tools.
We will also provide our readers with brief lists of things to consider when contemplating strategies like starting a new program, hiring an advertising agency, or outsourcing your printing and mailing services. These lists will be quick reads that will get you pointed in the right direction.
In other posts we will provide comparisons for your consideration. For example, we might compare various contact center options, different interactive marketing strategies, or the pros and cons of open source software solutions.
In addition to the posts by Enrollment Builders consultants we intend to have guest bloggers who serve as enrollment managers for adult and online programs at institutions from the different higher education sectors. We'll try to get diverse perspectives from independent and state-supported institutions, small and large schools, as well as non-profit and for-profit universities.
The plan is to post twice per month. We'll announce when new posts are ready through the Enrollment Builders Twitter account (@EnrollmentBldrs) as well as our LinkedIn profiles.
We hope that the 'Tool Box' will be a useful source of information, reviews, lists, and comparisons about the tools that you can use to build enrollment at your institution. Please let us know if there is a topic of interest about which you would like us to write.
We hope that you enjoy the blog. Thanks for reading!
